being that I'm I like old steel bikes. I don't ride an expensive bikes but, if I ever choose to get a top end bike. I will really get the road nazi's goat because I will sooner or later ride it around town on it in $5 walmart sandels cargo shorts and a tee shirt plus I weigh #300. that would really boil their potatoes
Brandy If you rode around here like with in 15 minutes every guy on a bike in town would be trying to keep up with you. Actually that would be fun to watch. Most of them can't keep up with a fat curmudgeon (me) much less some one who is in decent shape

Definitely wasn't her (Brandy I mean).
And I still want a Cervelo. Actually scratch that - I'd feel inadequate on one.

Ha, Ha... This thread was headed for the BF's Top 20 Worse Threads, suddenly with one post it moves to the front of the line of BF's Top 10!
Thanks Brandy, I have to come back here more often just for these threads!

Riding a Cervelo? Yep, first time for me.
I have a hard time believing someone with only a passing interest in cycling would buy a Cervelo. I could be wrong though. What said person wears while riding it? I could care less really. When I see someone riding a high end bike I figure they either love riding, are "rich", or both. Both of those are great qualities in a woman.

Personally, I love it when a Fred busts his ass to pass as I'm warming up/cooling down at 15mph

I love the automatic response to anything about bike weight, to lose it off the body first. I mean, that may be true for many people, but not everyone. We aren't all fattys. Whitness Brandy. I don't want to pollute this thread with pictures of myself, but I did recently post a pic of me with my shirt off in another thread I dare anyone to tell me I should lose weight, and mean it.

I'd buy a 4000$ bike and ride it around in flip flops leisurely with my friends, especially if one friend needed to borrow my other bike.

I just got pannier for my commute, I'd love to see you try to catch up to me during my 10 mile 20mph commute, soon to be 5 miles so I need to adjust my training a bit. Sadly I don't see too many roadies on my commute, but the few that I did see I was keeping up and eventually passed them, all the freds are on the sidewalk, I don't even know how many of those I pass.

I really liked how everyone kept using "reply with quote" so that this thread has filled with pictures of Brandy.
Aren't there any other women BF'ers out there ready to throw down on this and post their own pix?
You know you're out there. You know you got 'em.
I really don't understand the whole big booty thing. Its just going to slow you down on the bike. And when you get to be in your 50's or so that thang will be hanging down to your calves.

I think the real issue here is Brandy why are you giving us a Polar file when you've got a powertap on your bike? You're otherwise
1) Full of ****, or,
2) Using a polar for altitude values as well as a powertap which is just waaaayyy to much effort for my liking.

I'll go with answer #2. I run my Power Tap for POWER data, but my training plan during the months of July and August focuses on climbing and I get the elevation data from my Polar. The Polar chart is a good visual if I am posting it to show what kind of climbing I did. If I posted a PT chart, I'd be willing to bet that most people here wouldn't know what to make of it.
So yes, I run both and too much effort? Nah. I strap on a watch, the PT is already on my bike and it takes maybe two minutes longer to download the extra data.
Oh...and bonus points to those who are really paying attention and may have noticed that my Polar chart was lacking the pretty multicoloring that comes when you are wearing your HRM. I was wearing my PT HRM strap instead.

Did I just get called out for having TOO MUCH data?

I knew something like this would come around in response. I stand by my previous assertion however. Thats a ton of can, and outside of a min-skirted 20-something, its appeal is lost on me. I also have to believe you were yanking the BF male population's collective chains somewhat with that take on wishing you had more junk. You wouldn't be able to climb as well. and - if you were built like some of the chicks in the video your cans would be rubbing the seat stays.
Ouch.
...boy has this thread gone off the hook or what?

As for yanking the collective chains (that sounds naughty ) I'm afraid not. Ask the old man, he knows I'm in search of a bigger booty. A little bubble booty in jeans...yeah, that's hot. Oh, and I'm not after any old jiggly junk...I asked Botto for FIRM junk.
