I am trading my Thomson Elite X2 Stem 110mm, 31.8 fit, +/- 10deg, 1 1/8 steer tube. For a stem that is 70-80mm (similar rize and same fittings)

It doesnt need to be a Thomson... I would trade for other brands, but I would prefer black and nothing from the cheap parts bin.

Hey guys, first post here.

HAVE:
LOTS of motorcycle gear and accessories.

WANT:
A bike. I'm not very picky, I would prefer a comfort bike or something where the seat is lower than the handlebars. Something to commute with and get some exercise on. Hybrid\commuter type with maybe a rack or some room for strapping stuff down or be able to pick up some groceries would be nice too.

I'm in Brooklyn but can deliver\pickup.

I have a bunch of good bike accessories including a backpack (with bladder thats removable), a small bike stand (little triangular one that goes around one wheel), pedals, a small cargo net that goes great with a commuter rack, and some other stuff.

I'm looking for a messenger bag. Something that's durable, but still pretty classy.

Let me know what you're looking for in terms of small accessories and stuff and see if we can make a deal!

HAVE:

Ortlieb waterproof pack. Although not technically a cycling pack using it's straps you can mount it to a rear rack. You just need to hit a walfart or sporting goods store to pick up 4 male buckles. Should cost you all of $2. You can either keep the buckles on the straps and strap it to the rack or get a strap, cut it to size and leave the strap on the rack at all times and then drop the bag on it and buckle it in place. That's how I would prefer it, this way it's a quick release for you. I'm keeping the magnetic base for something else.

Want:
A topeak super tourist DX rack, one for disc brakes.
Or a good quality crank set
Or riser bar, mtb
Or quill stem riser (will get the size shortly)
Or Wheelset (26") preferably with IGH
Or any combination of above, can include cash to make up the difference.
Or interesting commuting essentials, I've got nothing right now, just got back into cycling.

Do you still need the triple cranks. I have some Truvatives, with the proper bottom bracket and derailleur

In response to your email. I don't have the bike in front of me right now, but will get specifics later. They are Truvativ's and are on a 2006 Giant OCR Composite 3. Google the specs to get details. I think the derailleur is Shimano 105. It is a braze-on style, but you can easily get the clamp if needed. I may even have one. Do you know your frame size? It is either 28.6mm (usually steel frames), 31.6, or 34.9mm. I'll check the crank length and teeth number. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the crank and derailleur. Both items came on the bike, which I bought brand new. Email me directly at Songmale@aol.com. Put 'crank' on subject line.

Anyone want one of these travel bags?
https://www.pricepoint.com/detail/155...-w_-Wheels.htm

I used it a few times and really don't like it. It doesn't have a frame so it's hard to wheel around a bus/train terminal as I intended to do. That said, it's still good for long-term storage, moving or even traveling if you don't mind carrying it. I'm moving and clearing stuff out, so if you want it, all you have to do is come pick it up from my house in Somerville. Or I suppose I could ship it to you but I don't know how much that would cost.

Please send me a message or email if you'd like it. I'm busy packing so I may not be on here that much before I leave. I'm out this week but it can wait here for you until June 1.

Well, the occasional bump can't hurt!

I'm always looking for dead leather saddles. You know, your old Brooks or Ideale or Selle Anatomica or whatever, on which the leather has dried out and cracked and torn and needs to be replaced. Give me that old saddle, and I'll find exactly what you want in trade for it from my vast hoard of bike parts in my cellar. And then I'll put new leather on that old saddle.
