Texas Hill Country: prevailing winds
Doing preliminary planning fot a two to three week tour through the hill country North and West of San Antonio to San Marcus .....What is the typical prevailing winds direction in Feb thur April?

With that said,
-- winter tends to have roughly similar proportions of winds from S and from N and summers tend to have more winds from the S and not much at all from the N.
-- I haven't found winds to be as much of an issue as other places, partially because there are more trees and partially because of curves and hills

The short version: If you plan on winds out of the south, you'll be right most of the time. Hope this helps!
