Rans V-Rex Seat Replacement

Greetings,

Does anyone know where I can find a seat for my V-Rex?

The plastic seat pan is fine. I need the foam and cover.

Thanks!

I made my own for a BikeE seat a long time ago. Bought the cover material from Jo-Anne fabrics. It was just stretchy material in black and the edges are shock cord to hold it in place on the Rans seat. You can get the original foam from Rans MPST0021B - SEAT BOTTOM FOAM (RECUMBENTS) Foam and cover together costs $52 but is a thinner version of the original Seats

RANS does indeed sell replacement foam and covers and the thinner combo foam/cover that I use on the captain's seat of our RANS Screamer.
Or, you can do what I did and get a new SlingMesh seat from RANS for your V-Rex. Warning: They cost too much. But worth it in the long run. Or, ride.

Here's a link to the one-piece lightweight pad/cover.
BPST0133 - FEATHER WEIGHT INTEGRATED SEAT BOTTOM FOAM & COVER (RECUMBENTS)
Lowers you several inches vs the original foam pad, and weighs significantly less.

If you need to replace the mesh, I've made one for my own V-Rex. Pet-Proof Screen material. Good stuff.
