Anyone else looking forward to Daylight Savings Time?

Don't know about others, but I'm really looking forward to the switch this weekend so that I can get a few miles in after work during the week. It seems like it has been a longer than normal winter, and a cold one too.

It's been unusually dry though, so there's that. I hate riding in the rain.

Yes, looking forward to daylight savings time. It seems like people forget how to drive when the sun goes down, should be nicer out for driving and biking both.

My wife. She likes me to ride after work instead of sitting on the couch watching ESPN and Pawn Stars.

Me!!! Finally get to get some decent riding in after school. Perfect time too, the Strava Specialized challenge will start just a few days later. I don't really have a shot at getting over 105,000ft of climbing, just wanna break 75,000.

being close to the beach, and involved with stuff down in the water riding there has been great. lights, now fenders, lights on the trailer ( the dog has been involved since she was 9 months or so) 10 mile round trip. and thats pulling probably 90 lbs. daylight savings.... a good thing

Yeah, like dammit. I don't ride road much anymore - switched back to my childhood love of BMX - and it's tough doing tricks in the dark.

yup, I like doing after work rides and not have to worry about lights, though I do have some nice ones.

Hell yea!

Can take longer more challenging routes on the way home. I no longer feel restricted to areas I know traffic flow well.

I like the longer days & warmth, but it also means I can't get out as early as I would like in the morning for a while.

Face it J, you miss Bob's biannual email telling us to be careful because it is darker in the morning/evening depending on whether we spring forward or fall back.

I agree - the last month or so it's been nice to have light before 6am.

I'm gonna ride my bike until I barf. (At least until the 25th, after which I'll be resting my forehead on the cool, cool toilet bowl lid to taper for HGH.)

I *hate* riding in the morning hours, but I do it since I can't ride after work....so yes I'm very much looking forward to daylight savings time.

Plus I can take this silly headlight off my bike.

I ride in the morning before work. So daylight savings time just means that I'm riding in the dark. no big deal.

god yes. i'm a niteowl and really don't like getting up early to ride unless it's a special occasion or trip. the extra daylight plays into my hands; i can get up at noon and ride without feeling as guilty about wasting half the day.
