Yep, do not disagree, but I really only need a small amount of housing, so I do not buy the super high end stuff, I buy the OEM level, has a little bit more give and not as stiff. I thought I still had some floating and a couple of cables around somewhere, but could not find it, but I found a shop kit version that has 2 cables and some housing for $16. I do like their cables though.

Upgraded handlebar for the gravel bike I built up three years ago and a compression plug, some pedal washers and a brake hose cutter. I originally built up the bike with handlebar I had on hand and it's darn well time to be spending some $$ now that the initial cost has amortized a few years 
The hose cutter I may send back. It will likely not be used for several years, not really needed for my rare usage. When I built the bikes (two bikes, 4 brakes), I just carefully cut the brake lines with a sharp razor knife, held carefully square. It's not brain surgery. But it was winter and I just wanted to spend some money on bike tools!!

One GXP pressfit bottom bracket to pass on my Quarq power crank to my son.
Two bearings, an extractor and a press+bushings to replace a worn out freehub bearing (might as well do the other one) in my gravel bike's rear wheel. Got a bigger press but not one that would fit through a hub.
One hanger alignment tool after finding out one of my bikes had a screwed hanger that I had no idea had happened and the LBS found when installing my Di2... so now I want to be able to check and fix them myself. Went for the Lifeline one because ParkTool's was 2.5x the price.

Still hunting for a grx power meter. I swear, when I am not in the market for something I see them everywhere. Now that I need one, nothing. Been looking for 2 months. Oh well.

I don't spend a lot of money on socks and jerseys either, I get the cheapest polyester stuff I can find, they all work the same regardless of price, but I'll spend more for good lined shorts. I use to live in the Mojave Desert of California, and my very expensive $120 (expensive back 30 years ago!), but it wasn't any cooler than a $12 one I found that wasn't even cycling specific, and the other strange thing is that the $120 jersey wore out, the $12 one I still have after all those years!! Now I try not to spend more than $30 for a jersey, and I never buy gaudy advertisement jerseys unless they want to give it to me for free to wear, they should be paying us to advertise, not the other way around, nor do I want to look like Tadej Pogačar, I'm not a racer, nor do I want to pretend to be one, what I call a drugstore racer.

This may be the least-exciting bicycle purchase I've made so far...
Bleed port screw and o-ring for Shimano GRX lever.
The 2mm allen socket of the original stripped out ridiculously easily. I have since found out that this is not a rare issue.

Don’t know why Castelli seem to use zips made of sugar cubes on their supposed miraculous Gabba and Perfeto waterproof gear though. Never buying one of those again.

My castelli ROS2 jacket has lasted 3 seasons and still going strong. Never had an issue with the zipper.
