Liquid masking?

I would like to give this product a try for some lug painting. Does anyone have experience with a specific brand?
Thanks!

I've heard of toothpaste used as a mask. When I was a kid and into model making there was a Testors masking product (as well as their version of Decal Set) which my buddy and I tried. At the time I though it was pretty cool but now I understand how little I knew back then. Andy

Doug mentioned toothpaste but I really don't want to buy multiple brands! Brian Chapman uses something but I have not had much luck hearing from him.

Did you try messaging him on Insta? I had a few interchanges with him there and it seems quick and painless.

Tom, He does answer questions rather quickly. Also, if I remember correctly, someone asked him about his masking fluid in the comments of one of the videos. I thought he gave an answer there so you may want to go back and dig around the comments.
