Newbie needs Scott road bike info

Newbie needs Scott road bike info
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but definitely not to bicycles. I picked up a Scott Galena hi-ten steel road bike that I can not find any information about. I contacted Scott sports usa and they didn't have a record of the bike being built as the company was sold, moved overseas, and sold again and moved back to the u.s. My guess is its a early 90's market test or a one year run (components were used from late 80's - early 90's) . The only Galena bikes I can find are in the mountain bike line starting around 1997. Can anybody shed some light on my mystery? For some reason, I can't upload pics.
