Hello from Michigan!
Hi all!
My name is Jacob from Michigan. Last summer/fall I bought a 1974 Schwinn Le Tour and absolutely love it! I want to keep in the best condition possible, but I'm just a beginner at fixing up bikes. My next task is simple - change the tires and tubes. Does anyone have a recommendation for what tires to buy? I live in a city so seeing glass and whatnot is common. I'm not sure if I should buy gumwall tires like the originals or go with something more updated. What are your thoughts?
Thank you!

Welcome to Bike Forums Jacob. I see that you have found our Classic & Vintage forum. Those are the best guys to ask about your tires.
