Raliegh Techinium MT-200 seat post issues.
Well I had a bit of a tough time freeing the seat post on this one.
Checked and with maybe a slightly different stem and bit more post height I can ride it fine. the Seat post that found it with is marked and seems to measure 26.4 chromed steel with ridges yuck. So tried putting a nicer 26.4 alloy post in after cleaning and ligthly lubing the seat tube and just no luck could get it to go in more than a couple of tough inches now freed the chrome steel post fits and works fine. Checked the specs for the bike and the 4120 MTB seat and yes 26.4. Wondering if I Should just stick with the chrome steel post or get and try a nicer 26.2 post just worried that if I tough another 26.4 in the frame it will likely cease and end up completely stuck.
