1988 trek 560, cold set for phil wood kiss off hubs laced to 36h open pros, 48x17 gearing. I have used this bike as a rock solid commuter for years and the new fixed gearing continues the tradition. I am really enjoying this bike and the 78 trek above as commuters.

In spite of the chainring and the lack of a right hood, I like this one a lot. Those old Treks almost always look good.

Also, should we just have a dedicated Stupid Arguments thread?

Another forum I frequent (an outdoorsy type forum) has an official "Dumb@ss Thread" where stuff gets moved and then locked.

I've had this old swiss Condor (probably late 70's - early 80's) converted into a fixed gear a few months ago. Best bike I've ever owned hands down. The frame was brutally light for a 531.
I used it as a commuter, 53/18T. It was a tad too long and also my knees were getting pretty worn out so I sold it.

Had a rough year, hence I've been away from bikes for months.
Had a bit of downtime, well.. plenty of it.. so I've been back putting together/upgrading existing/new projects again.

Here are just a few I've been riding lately (better pics to come later)

it's a custom made full titanium frame for a former national team cyclist from china by Panasonic, the name of the cyclist is still on the frame.
