Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Another awesome ride with Whyfi today. His “easy” rides are having me almost pass out. Nice to be out of my comfort zone.

Ha. I wouldn't say that's easy, specially given the century, but I'm happy to ride as slow as you want to. You just seem to like having the opportunity to push it a bit.

Fun if short ride MTB ride today with a coworker. Took a nice little tumble but nothing more consequential than a dusty shirt.

The park we were at is frustrating on a single speed - I'm overgeared for the climbs but undergeared everywhere else. I know that's the way she goes but still can be annoying.

Stretching activities completed. Steely Dan music was consumed during said activity. No animals were hurt and no jacket required.
