Different. Not slow and clumsy. The same rider, riding the same trail, Once on a 26" old skool and once on 29er new geometry...29er...more comfortable, more stable at speed, much more fun. It took a few years for bike designers to figure out how to make 29" wheels dance but we are there now.

V-brakes are better than any disc I have ever used.
