Columbus Squadra Corse
Anyone heard about this frame? It’s made by “Michele Cavalera”. I bought the bike with stucked seatpost for 350$. When I see the groupset which 105 and headset of Campagnolo, I thought It’s a good deal. But when I search online, I couldn’t find information about the frame that says “Columbus Squadra Corse”. There is one topic on this forum about it and it’s says that kind is Aluminum, which in my case, it’s a steel. When I read about it being aluminum I immediately stick magnet to my frame and it sticked.
The seller said the bike is from Italy and bragged about it. When I check one of the decal, it shows a store name which possibly the bike from and when I checked it online, it’s an actual Store in Italy.
I am new to vintage, but I recently get interested on it.
Thanks for any leads.
PS:’I wasn’t able to upload photos because my account is new, I hope I could.

Cavalera is the brand, Columbus Squadra Corse is the tubing it's made from.

Makes sense that Columbus is the tubing, or perhaps the frame model named for the tubing, but in quite a while associated with road bikes and tubesets I have not heard of a Columbus tubeset called Squadra Corse. I've certainly seen Italian tubular tires with the name, however, so the name is a real thing. I think the name means "Road Team." However there are many Italophiles here who will soon correct me if necessary.
But I like Italian and French obscurities, so it's definitely interesting. Reply several times and get your post count up, then we can all look at your pictures. Meanwhile tell us about the hubs, rims, spokes, tires, brakes, seatpost, derailleurs, shifters, et cetera! Here in C&V we wanna know about all the little details.

Since it's Italian and obscure, my guess (ONLY a guess!) is that Michele Cavalera is the builder, and put his own name on the frame.

So maybe this bike model is the one that Cicli Cavalera provides to its team riders? and the tubing is selected from the Columbus catalog?
This hypothesis lets you think, wow, I got a really nice bike!

WHO WE ARE
Michele Cavalera was born on 12 March 1956 in Bassano del Grappa (VI). At the age of sixteen, his passion for cycling led him to enroll in the student category in the glorious “VELOCE CLUB BASSANO 1892”.With the past as a cyclist, he acquired the technical experience to start a business in the sector. In 1981 he opened his first store where he made the construction of racing cycles, and already in his first year of activity he was able to supply his racing bicycles to the team where his passion had started ten years earlier.

Looks like the frame is fillet brazed, and quite nicely at that.
If you can get the seat post unstuck, I think you got a decent deal.
