Options to replace the chainrings in my FC-6603

I don’t understand why this has become so tough. They are just chainrings. Get 10 speed 52t outer and 39t middle and be done with it.
Does anyone really believe any 10 speed chainring is going to throw the chainline off significantly? By .1mm, .2mm, .5mm?
But, if I’m looking for something I save a search on eBay and if it comes up at a good price I buy it and put in the parts bin. If you are planning on waiting, you have to keep looking.

If you look up Shimano's very helpful compatibility charts, you'l see that 6603, 6703 and 7803 cranksets are interchangeable; while 5703, 5603,4603, R553,R563 are also interchangeable but you need to use 5703, 5603 or 4603 front derailleurs

I also like to run 6603. It’s a beautiful groupset.
I stocked up a few years ago but there are still some rings to be had on eBay. If you don’t mind the different aesthetic, the double Dura Ace rings from that era (7800) are worth looking at and they aren’t materially more expensive than the Ultegra ones now. There seem to be a lot more of those for sale on eBay (NOS).
Otherwise, I’ve seen a few NOS 6600 (double) cranksets for sale at very reasonable prices on eBay. So you could take the rings and sell the arms on their own.
The main thing is to stock up as much as you can now to prevent this cropping up again. eBay is almost certainly your best bet I’m afraid.
Good luck!

I appreciate this is a double crank so you won’t get the ramps on the 39t to aid shifting from the granny ring, but that might be fine for you if you’re not racing...

4703 rings are 4 arm, they won't fit a 6603 crank. I upgraded the rest of my drivetrain to 4703 but wanted to keep running my 6603 cranks in case I want to put a 28T inner ring on in the future. I use 7803, 5603, 4603 rings on it, depending on what I can find for cheap. I scored some nice 7803 rings for the outside and it's pretty slick looking. The most important ring is to find is the middle 39T ring that has the right ramping so you get nice shifts. I used the 39T ring from a double for a while and it the shifting was a lot rougher than I thought it'd be, and the various other compatible shimano rings all shift much better so I'd really recommend tracking down at least a shimano 39T middle ring.
