Yep and very reasonable price too, especially for the quality, toughness and sheer staying power of them.

They are bulletproof with little or no maintenance but MKS sets them up tight for break in, many here think thats not ok but I'm pretty sure MKS knows what they're doing.

I've never adjusted them, run em right out of the box and have several pairs with years and miles that have never had a single problem.

They make all styles with the Sylvan quill and touring can't be beat. Same as they have been for decades so they're steeped in C+V, look the part then and now, still.

One of the best values is cycling.

Still debating getting these old Esquartz MKS pedals set up with cages, unfortunately they use old proprietary ones (I've seen replacements online) but they're real purty....

Do it.

Then they will be complete, cool and ready to use or move along easily.

So many of these proprietary pedals laying around rotting for this stupid reason, talk about engineered obsolescence.

I believe these to be Brampton/Phillips pedals with Ashly toe clips. Late 50s vintage.

Very cool, looks like they would benefit from some cursory rust abatement, I put them in a ziploc with a big squirt of WD-40, then they can be rinsed off with brake clean, scrubbed and polished or evaporusted later.

This is the first time I've seen another pair of these pedals. I bought mine in 1985 for my Miyata 310. I started using SPD pedals on my bikes a few years ago, but I've been debating with putting the MKS pedals back on the Miyata. I want to be ready, in case there is ever an Eroica event in the Midwest.

These are what real cyclists ride:

How convenient, it looks like the release sticks out enough so that, as you go down, the tab itself is the first thing that hits, thus releasing the cleat just at the moment you make a fool of yourself. How thoughtful of them.

Or the plastic release snaps off without releasing and you are ground to a complete pulp before its over.

I’ve got that same cyclepro bag in burgundy. It’s in the washing machine as we speak (found it dusty in my uncles attic). It appears it’s made to slide onto a rack given the slip on the bottom side, but in not sure how that works without struts getting in the way. Mine also has a metal support for the inside but I can’t figure out how it’s supposed to fit, or if it’s even original to the bag.
