It's 1986.
The dominance of Steel is being challenged by Al and CF.
And word is out that Ti is returning to the party to stay this time.

A few slight mistakes or misleading stements,but that only annoys the engineer in me and does not invalidate the conclusions. Overall,the article stands the test of time remarkably well
