I was working at my first A/V job when it came out, during the dawn of home DVD playback. It's was so vivid and gorgeous that we always had it on repeat in one of the listening/viewing rooms. I'm pretty damn sure that I could still drop in anywhere in the movie and recite the dialog.

Not only are they expensive but they're also numerous! It used to be there were just a few to choose from, but now Selle Italia (for example) has a gazillion variants of each 'series'. It used to be the Flite would have a couple different versions, differing only in the metal used for the rails.
I've been planning on buying new MTB tires for a year or so but every time I think I'm ready to pull the trigger I make the mistake of reading user reviews and then I'm back to square one

I bought some jerseys last year, which were pretty darn tight when I got them. Now? They flap a bit. The Castelli kit I bought in 2019 because it was on sale at the Performance Going Out Of Business sale didn't fit till late in the summer - which runs through October for us in NorCal - and at that, a little tight. I'm curious to see how it fits now. It's XXL.
I got a pair of The Black Bibs $60 bibs, which fit fine, but they have the kind of pad that's extra thick over the sit bones, AND they're a bit slick, so I would slide forward on the saddle and have to push back. I guess these days saddles aren't as slick as they were 20 years ago when these Avocet saddles were made.

I'm so tired of the wind. Most weekdays I've been starting work around 5-5:30 so I can bag off for a couple of hours at lunch to get a ride in, but with another strong wind day, I might say screw it. Friday on a downhill I normally get to 35ish before the bottom, I was being pushed so hard by the wind I was going nine. It also seems, no matter which direction I head, it's a headwind.

I predict pain. On multiple fronts, so to speak. I am happy with a 20 miler three or four times a week, until the knee proves itself to be healed.

I bring peanut butter and honey sandwiches when I know I’m going on a longer ride. Might be just bike fit. might be I just need to harden the f up. Seemed like there was a period of time I was doing 50 back to back and I don’t remember any pain. Maybe it wasn’t happening as often as I thought.

Jackie LOVES watching birds and other critters from the inside.
Problem is the ceiling where bird shown is approx 25 feet high, so may be a challenge to shoo it out.

It's just straight-up pain over a fairly large area - not just localized to the sit bones but in that area and towards the rear of the saddle. Just feels like I've been sitting on something uncomfortable for a long time, I'm not really sure how else to describe it.
FWIW I seem to remember that with the Model 3 any discomfort would be more on the sit bones.
I also wonder if it's because the Spoon and Scoop are both somewhat grippier than a leather saddle. I like the feeling of being anchored but maybe it's preventing things from moving around and that's what's causing part of the issue? Could also be a too-much-padding issue but I wouldn't exactly call them super padded saddles.
