seat post and seat adjust

Hi all,

I just bought a Jamis Renegade S2. In the specs it mentions
  1. Seat Post Jamis carbon fiber micro-adjust, 27.2 x 330mm with cromo seat pin
  2. Saddle Selle Royal Asphalt with integrated clip system
Does anyone know what those underlined words mean? What is micro-adjust? Does that affect how I adjust the seat?

thanks.

Micro-adjust usually means that the seat rails are clamped by two bolts (front and back) Adjustment is done in small increment (if desired) by tightening one bolt and loosening the other, for instance a quarter turn.

Google the Selle Royal Integrated Clip System. It's a system for clipping seat bags of varying sizes and shapes directly to the seats. Micro-Adjust was explained. Cromo seat pins references the alloy the seat binder pin is made from.

Micro-adjust is in contrast to some seatposts that have serrations so that saddle tilt can be in small increments, but not between those increments.

Adjusting saddle tilt with a two bolt mechanism can be tedious, but worth it.

I bought it at Endless Trail in Dobbs Ferry, NY. It was the only bike in my size out of 20 shops that i called. I feel really lucky that i found it.

That is probably the most popular gravel bike we sell. We have not received a single one yet this year from Jamis and we are a pretty large Jamsi dealer.
