Hello from Lockdown-London

Hi from London UK. Anyone into Italian steel, circa mid/late 80's I'm your man. Currently restoring 5x Benottos, 2x Bottecchias, to add to my Rossin, De Rosa, Colnago and Basso amongst many others. Also a bit of a Mavic obsessive, if anybody needs advice or help on what I think is the most interesting brand in cycling. Pics will be forthcoming when the bikeforum gods deem me worthy...

Welcome to the forum mate! It's so cool what you. I must say not so many people have the proper knowledge and capacity to restore these types of great bikes.

It's so cool you have a giordana frame. Whenever you can, please share some photos of it!

Hi 13bikes, I am also a new member! I will be taking up on your offer for advice, as I am thinking about building a late eighties Battaglin in the coming months, and would like to do it with a Mavic groupset (of which I know very little). I look forward to learning from your expertise!

Hi 13bikes I’ve joined BF just recently and live only about 30 miles north of you. You certainly seem to be doing restoration on an industrial scale! In my humble fleet I have a 1980 Colnago Super and a 1970ish Grandis as projects. Looking forward to your pics.
