Apalachicola gravel?
Anyone have any experience with or information about riding gravel roads in Apalachicola National Forest? Road conditions, recommended equipment, etc. Thanks!

Everything I see from the N Fla group out of Tallahassee, home of the "Dirty Pecan" races, is north and east of Tallahassee, none south and west in the ANF. That may or may not be a good sign.
Riding the wild areas around Destin>Panama City usually involves more sand than gravel - fat tires needed. May be the some of the same in the ANF.

Thanks. I wondered about the dearth of online info. and Gravelmap routes in Apalachicola NF vs. the areas you mention where Dirty Pecan is run.

If you're on FB, you can find Dirty Pecan & try messaging them
