Not Another Identification Thread (a.k.a. "Another better-than-average lugged POS")
Sloping fork crown, chromed rear triangle, nicer Dia-Compe brake calipers than it deserves, what looks like a two-hole headbadge. Appears to be primarily Japanese components with exception to some hacked-off (!) Cinelli Giro bars. Can't make out the RD from the inner cage.
Seller's pics stink (and as usual, so does the seller's attitude), but curiosity now has the better of me.
I know it's asking way too much...but anything leap out immediately?

Horizontal headbadge rivet holes, aero/ovalized seat stays, no reinforcement tangs on the brake bridge, semi-wrap seat stay caps, chrome back end - quick guess would be a Schwinn Circuit (1987-88-ish?). Those brakes might be original.

That's some seriously impressive deductive work there, Maurice. Never even crossed my mind.
I wonder what possessed someone to paint it Nishiki International Poopy Green...

One look at those handlebars and I gave up questioning any decisions made about this poor frame. As for painting it poopy green... caveman is as caveman does, I suppose .

I was thinking circuit as well. Suntour sprint with the gcII brakes. Depending on the year they came with rigida rims.

was SO delighted to see Maurice comment on the oval seat stays
this was the first thing i noticed when looking at the images
had the thought "are those stays really oval or is it just me auld peepers?"
our Maurice sorts yet another one at a glance!
we would be lost without him; many of these ID inquiry threads would go unresolved...
