couldn't help but smile and think of our own @mattm when watching this last night.
also, iab like that, doesn't seem great to turn your hands and make them big wide wind-catchers.

I went to the famed Westwood Cycles in NJ this past Sunday to get my TT fit dialed in. Apparently i have a leg length discrepancy and a whole host of other issues. My saddle was also apparently too low, which was my way of dealing with numb taint as this shifts weight onto my quads; as a result, i was burning up my quads more than i should have.
New position:
The walls of the store were lined with quite a few leaders' jerseys, and @gsteinb apparently contributed quite a few to the collection.

How are you? I feel like you haven't been posting recently. Are you racing? Training? Riding?

Training is fleeting. Not a good year at all. Too much travel, and too few lunch rides. I'm hoping to get my feet under me soon and get back on the bike for my old level of training (which was already sucky). We'll see about racing later this season. I'm missing the Central Texas road season as it happens now. The Driveway will be my target if I get some fitness.
In spite of all that, I'm having a lot of fun at work and with the family. The pendulum has just swung away from racing for a bit, I think.

Things are going well. I inherited a new project and a new team (and still have manage my existing team). The brief version is that I don't have the brain cells available to follow any forums about now.

Here's to success and fun when when the pendulum swings back your way.

Glad to hear that you're good and enjoying life. I haven't been at the game (cycling) for nearly as long as many of you, but I'm experienced enough to know that your available energy and interest for cycling does fluctuate - that the pendulum does indeed swing.
Here's to success and fun when when the pendulum swings back your way.

I guess it might be interesting that we took a 5-family spring break ski vacation last week, and one family was that of a friend who is a 7-time TdF racer. We didn't spend more than about 2 minutes discussing bike racing.
I did beat him in a 3-up saucer race down a sledding hill in Leadville. He was a bit better on skis though...
Then there's this series of my oldest catching some air off a sled jump

Ha ... re-watching the Milan San Remo coverage and they're talking about so and so in the race owning the Strava KOM up the Poggio. Strava has made full infiltration.

I've watched MSR several times including this year. The descent of the Poggio seems like the most dangerous thing i've seen these guys do. I know they do some hairy descents, but that technical descent right at the end with everyone taking risks because the end is so close....that's crazy
