Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How to gain 5mph with no change in fitness.

I recently bought a Trek Domane + and I'm telling you there is just something about this bike!

It feels like I have somehow picked up 350 more watts.

I used to get dropped by the locals on their A ride, now I'm dusting them and own every KOM.

I don't know if its the aero, the compliance, or something else, but man this thing rips.

Kudos to Trek, and for all of you who think training is what makes you fast, I feel sorry for you.

A custom ti bike (i.e., not a LiteSpeed) would have made you 6 mph faster.

5 mph! NO. 4! 4 is where it's at.

It's like, you're dreaming Gorgonzola when it's clearly Brie time baby!
