I was slow and felt terrible this morning. Wasn’t trying to set any records, take a look at my heart rate zones for this ride. It’s all zone 3,4,5,6. I guess that’s what happens when you ride super dehydrated.

Thanks doc, but I’d like to elaborate further. It’s not a single individual, it was teachers who slapped his wrist. It is always a group decision, we routinely get the opinion of at least two others. This is to eliminate any possibility of the infraction being personally motivated. Probably something most folks don’t realize, but it’s firm policy.

So it's been announced that the vaccination folks are coming to Tixkokob this week. 60 and over. We're to await a phone call telling us when to show up. Just for yucks, we call each other, to make sure the phones work. Sure enough, neither of them rings. My genius wife goes online and scores a code. It was set to zero rings on both phones. How does that happen by itself? She set hers to five rings, and I set mine to 15. They both ring five times. More importantly, they both ring . Every time.

Ended up doing pads and rotors on my wife's car today.
Any guesses on how long it took? Bonus points for the difference between the first side and the second
I'm somewhat handy with a wrench but working on cars is a pretty rare occurrence for me, so although it was a bit of a PITA at times generally I enjoyed myself. Helped that I could have the garage open and enjoy the nice sunny weather.

Ooooh. Durrr. I never even noticed the percentage sign. I take it that's the default? I've certainly never intentionally changed that.

Yes, I think it’s the default and makes a bit more sense. The model has obvious problems at the extremes.

Hope I don’t have the “vid”. Been feeling weak these past couple of days on and off the bike. Seems like my heart rate is higher than usual to but don’t have a way to monitor it all day. Yesterday I was dehydrated which didn’t help but hydration is not an issue. No fever or lack of senses just feel weak.

A former club member and irregular group ride guest showed up for the ride yesterday. It's always good to see him - he's a strong rider, a steady wheel to follow and just a really good guy. Anyway, he works next to the LBS and is in really tight with those guys. Yesterday, he gave us a warning "if you guys need bike stuff, you'd better get it sooner rather than later. If you ordered a Shimano chain at the Catfish today, do you know when you'd get it? They're saying November...."
Yikes. My chains aren't in need of replacement yet, but they may be some time this summer, so I checked the local shops that show inventory availability online. Yeeeaah, notsomuch.
I was already feeling a little anxious about popping the new tires on so early in the year, and only having one on-hand in back-up, so I've been thinking about ordering next year's tires, just in case. Welp, this put me over the edge, so I just ordered next year's tires and two new chains for whenever I need them.
Yikes. My chains aren't in need of replacement yet, but they may be some time this summer, so I checked the local shops that show inventory availability online. Yeeeaah, notsomuch.

No bueno. Spent all my funds on that ritchey. Luckily I have gators for back ups, plenty of tubes and I still have that to short chain, but if needed I can make that work. Only thing I can think that might need replacing by summer is the cables on my Cervelo. I have a feeling once I get the Ritchey up I won’t be riding the cervelo all that much for a while.
