Cannondale SN question.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cannondale SN question.

So, I have found the Vintage Cannondale website but my SN doesn't seem to match what they show. The format appears correct for the 2000-2001 era, but where the letter are, I have numbers. The fork did have the 2000+ C logo on the fork and headtube prior to paint.

It is a CAAD4 R500 and had 3x9 Tiagra with Flight Deck labels at the top of the brake levers. No idea if they are factory original though.

Any thoughts.
