I ordered my Fuji Professional last week and was told it would be ready in 2 weeks... well it's only been a week and they called me up today and said it was ready for me to pick up. It was at Performance during the 20% team points weekend so I have $500 in points to spend on gear... but I gotta wait for it. Whats worse? looking at your bike online or staring at it in person but not being able to ride? So now I have my beautiful new bike, carbon, DA components, 16lbs... to look at. First road bike ever and Im really excited about it... but all I can do is walk over and touch it 
. My girlfriend has already teased me about how pathetic Im being... I didnt even realize I was doing it.
I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how...

I've put about 400 miles on it so far, and love it.
Replaced stock Selle saddle with Koobi Au Enduro. Replaced stock Kenda Koncept Lite tires with Vittoria Zaffiro Pros. Added Performance Team SPD clipless pedals, Ascent 8V wireless computer, Profile Design Aqua Rack, and Serfas frame pump.
Only minor problem with the bike was rattling from the (unthreaded) valve stems passing through the aero wheels. Switching to tubes with threaded valve stems allowed me to use those little nuts on the stem, which fixed the problem.
I upgraded to this bike from a Bianchi Strada, which is an all-steel, flat-handlebar road bike. The aluminum-and-carbon R660 has a much smoother ride than the Strada, contrary to what I'd been told to expect. The much-lighter Scattante amazed me with it's quickness and speed; it's made me a much better cyclist.
If it looks small, it is: 48cm. I'm 5'7" with short legs. It fits me much better than my 51cm Bianchi.

Nice R660... I was so close to ordering that one when the CFRs came back in stock. I was convinced after riding a few Treks (and my OCP-ness) that the full carbon was the way to go for me (see my post a couple pages back). Sounds like either choice would have been a good one based on your love for the R660. I've only ridden about 100 miles so far (32 miles just this evening) but so far I love every minute of it. This is my first road bike after thousands of miles on MTBs over the past 15 years.

I have a Specialized Tarmac Pro, I love it. I ride it all the time. I have a Trek Madone 5.9SL as well, but never ride it. I find it a bit stiff, but I do love the bike.

I have a 1990 Trek 850 Antelope 21-speed with which I replaced the knobby tires with ones that are relatively smooth for road cycling but still have a great tread for off-road rides. The 850 is generally a mountain bike, I've ridden thousands of miles, kept it in good condition. On extra long rides like the Trek Across Maine, I've been asked by fellow cyclists with road and racing bikes why the @#$% I was riding the trek on a mountain bike. The answer lies in that I'm able to ride through wet weather and over potholes, bridge decks, railroad crossings, etc. without mishap. While I might not be able to go as fast as some other people, at least I have the bike and the energy reserves to get where I'm going.

I bought a 2005 Orbea Dauphine this summer. Ultegra with FSA Gossamer Mega exo crankset. Carbon fork and seatstays and seatpost. The cassette is 12-25 with 34-50 chainrings; I may change to the 12-27 cassette.

nice bike, I love my Orbea, best bike ever. I just bought another orbea frame on ebay just now, gonna make it my backup/training bike to go along with my other orbea.
