RT, sent you my mileage but forgot to put my user name in the e-mail. Do I need to re-send?

Weather asses predicting 'scattered showers' throughout the week with maybe a 'couple licks of thunder'. Must be nice to collect a paycheck to issue weather reports that could be plugged in wherever you may live. I bet we see less than .25" all week long, total.

I thought I might gain some ground on catching up to you mileage-wise this week RT. I manage 100.6 miles and here you come with your best week in a while and get 101.7.

What the Hell did we do the week of April 7? I thought I had a bad formula somewhere, but someone piled on miles.

Have you given any thought to deleting those folks that said they would participate months ago but have never sent you any data? It would be easy enough to add them back later on if they did start participating, but in the meantime they are kind of skewing some of the data.
Edit: I see now that you aren't including anybody who has never given any mileage data in the averages....though those people who only reported once early on are still messing up the numbers a little.

Yes, if I count every mile logged, I must count them in the average. It wouldn't take too much effort though to remove the stragglers as I am familiar with the core of the group. The only reason I haven't nuked the dormant tabs is because it takes so long to re-create them, but at this point (5/12 of the way through 2013), it is fair to clean it up a bit.
2014 will be as easy as copying the sheet and changing names, maybe adding a few.
What do you guys all think?

Right now the count function is seeing the zeros as a value and counting them, but deleting the values completely would give accurate results.

Here's a good shot from yesterday. Unfortunately the photographer didn't bother photoshopping my fuel tank.

Ordered some new wheels today. They may be sold on Nashbar and Bike Island, but I have had great experiences with Vuelta wheels (I got the Starlite with the uber-bladed spokes). Needed something stronger than my Forte Titans, which now hang from a hook in the garage. What made me think 16/20 wheels would be good for a 200 lb fat, fat fatty?
They will make the black bike look sah-wheet.

Nice. I think I'm going to order this after work. https://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...0052_533667_-1 I've been thinking of upgrading my Trek 1.2 to the Tiagra 4600 group with a compact. But with Nashbar's 25% off sale I can get this bike for $785 shipped (vs the ~$400 I would have had to pay just for a Tiagra group), and it's CF. I figure absolute worst case scenario if I hate the bike or it fits me terribly I can swap the group to my Trek, put the Sora stuff on the Nashbar frame and sell it for three or four hundred bucks. But looking at the geometery of the frame I think I'll really enjoy it. I'm pretty excited. I feel like a brand new CF bike (even if it is a no name brand) with 105/Tiagra for $785 is a smoking deal.

Yeah, that is a steal at 25% off. The relaxed geometry/bent top tube is a nice experience. My Alu frame is like that and it rides big for the size it is. I am 6'1" and ride a 56-58, but my relaxed geo bike is a 53.5. Go by Effective TT and you should be fine.
That's new Tiagra, too. Good stuff.
EDIT: I ride with that same crank, and it is going to be fine. There is a lot of whining in the 41 about FSA stuff, but it is every bit as good and reliable as 105.
DOUBLE EDIT: And Jeez, I run those exact same wheels, too!

I was kind of having second thoughts, then decided I would order it, and it is now backordered until August. So I think I'll just wait. There will be other deals that come along.

You have much discipline. You might even look at it as an opportunity to build a bike up over the spring/summer. Bike Island has some good frames (I have built up two, the black bike being one of them) and 105 levers are down around $200 now if you want 10 speed, even cheaper for 9 speed.

Another sucky post from Mikey.... Second Clavicle surgery scheduled for tomorrow, check-in @ 5:45am. First patient of Orthopod in 9 years (and 60 surgeries) to need the plate replaced... apparently being sick and vomiting my life up for 8 hours due to food poisoning causes undue stress on the clavicle.... and ironically not 400mi on a road bike; go figure. Of the only other two who had plates fail one was an amateur DH racer who competed thee weeks after surgery, which makes sense. This plate will be heavier, longer and apparently just what a dope like me needs.

My bikes got lighter. 15 lbs on the nose for the Addict with Sram Red.
16 lbs for the Scott Foil Premium frame with Powertap carbon clinchers and Di2.
