Yeah, really sorry about Goolaerts. It overshadows what was otherwise a spectacular race and a powerful conquest by Sagan. Not only did he ride away from the peloton, but when he reached the breakaway he set such a torrid pace that he dropped all but Dillier.

I remember with a mile or two left they said Sagan and Dillier were going 37mph. After six hours of racing on cobblestones. Those guys are freaks of nature.

What I noticed was that after he crossed the finish line, held his bike in the air, hugged someone from his team (coach?) he didn't even look like he was tired or winded. You'd think that after powering through that sprint he'd need a moment for his HR to subside, but no....
