Got back from a little trip and went to reinstall pedals on the Volare when I noticed I'd lost a dust cap. It's probably somewhere in Montreal or Burlington. If these were cheapo pedals I'd just donate them to the local co-op, but they aren't. Looking for a match to the existing one or a matching pair. I believe MKS made these, so lots of dust caps will likely fit. I've got small bits to trade. Whatcha need?

I might have some. I know I have Lyotard pedal dust caps if that is what these are, but might have some MKS as well. I will check tonight. (if you don't hear from me, shoot me an IM in case I forgot)

@smontanaro, I think I actually have one of those MKS dust caps unless I stuck it in the BOC at some point. It didn't fit the pedal I bought it for, unfortunately, so it's just been sitting in a drawer. I can measure the specs if that would help.

Sorry, I just have a bunch of Lyotard pedal dust covers and they don't look the same as yours. I have a number of these if anyone needs Lyotard dust covers...

I definitely have those pedals and like them just fine, so I MIGHT have a spare dustcap. I'll check for one tonight.

ISO a bar mount Suntour Power Shifter for a rear 5 speed cluster. Have stuff to trade.

Bar-end? We pulled these off my buddy's '78 Trek. He liked them but wanted to switch back to downtube. I never could get acclimated to bar-end, so I've never used them. There's a mild kink in one of the steel housings as shown. I'm not sure how to test if they're working without installing, but if you have pointers I'm game.

Testing is easy. just move the shifter lever to see if it clicks. The only way these don't work is if they have no friction left, or they're frozen.

And that bent bit of Stainless cable housing is not an issue, it will bend back just fine. Or if yer worried about it, a good bike shop should have a roll of that housing on hand. It looks like you found a deal!
If those shifters don't click (or ratchet) as you move them it is likely only a broken spring in the shift arm mechanism, and I have a couple here from some broken sets. Smiles, MH

I use real leather for golf grips. It comes in rolls long enough to wrap half of each side, which means a splice at the brake levers. But if you wrap from both ends that is a normal process. It is a bit pricey but will last next to forever, and is parafin infused to keep it tacky. I get mine from Best Grips in Texas. It is owned by the Sewell family and they are great to work with. Only clicks on one lever, and the clicking seemed extremely weak. But I'm 100% positive they were working as expected when removed, hence why I was wondering how to test them.

Anyway, if it's what @dweenk is looking for, I'm not attached and I see there's now an offer for replacement parts on the table, so ... I'm happy to try to make something happen.

Thanks for the offer but I am looking for top of handlebar mount, and may have located one. I see another member has offered springs to rebuild them.

IIRC, there are no clicks on the left hand shifter because it's friction only.

Uhm, no. They both have identical mirorachet mechanism in them. They should both have fine "clicks" when shifting.

That's how I remember it too. I'm not even sure if there's any difference between left and right. I don't think the parts were even mirrored left/right.

If I recall correctly, the later, black-colored Accushift barcons had the micro-ratchet play on the front derailleur shifter. The rear derailleur shifter clicked in indexing mode and was smooth in friction mode.
