I have heard about the aging small towns problem that Japan has from news and friends but your videos are the best document of the issue (that I have seen)

Amazing how ordinary Japan may seem.

We are heading up there in April to hike Kumano Kodo.

They are very old and we just bought them from a bike chain store called Y's Road. They are not available any more.

If you check my Kii Peninsular video you will see several place on that trail. Biwako, Nara and Kii are amongst my favourite places. You should have a great time.
