Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think my mom, of blessed memory, liked John Denver. However, I doubt she knew who he was beyond a voice on the radio.

C’mon guys. It’s not like we are talking about Barry Manilow. John Denver was good.

Even after the PMRC decided Rocky Mountain High glorified drug use, this required a Parental Advisory sticker?

If you are not allergic. The Euro favorite, hazelnuts, are my go-to substitute. For some reason my tree nut allergy only extends to walnuts and pecans.

I used to think John Denver was overly sweet crap. I acknowledge that element, but he was a very talented songwriter and musician whose material had mostly aged well.

Aren’t pecans and walnuts closely related? Might explain things.

I just remember shop class when I was in jr. hs where the teacher said pecan, hickory, and walnut were closely the same wood.

But then again, I know nothing and my memory is even worse.

@datlas This morning it was snowing really hard not far from your place. Places like Honey Brook and Lancaster. About 1"/hr. There was even thunder snow along the turnpike. Too warm for it to last though.

It’s supposed to be 70 and sunny in Málaga tomorrow. I will try to sneak a ride in.
