Addiction LXXVI

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Another perfect day. A somewhat nicer ride, due to the bike selection. And, of course, that Conti tire. I like it.

My wife is an avid bridge player. After she retired, she went to our local park district senior citizen bridge club just to check it out. She was barely legal age to participate. Anyway, after going maybe twice, she missed a week and when she returned the following week, they said they had the annual meeting and she was elected president of the Senior Citizen Club. That was in 2006 and she's still president despite having moved out of the district.

Moral of the story: Don't miss election meetings.

I'd be happy if that was all that I lost.

Thank you all for the test results, we (they) will be looking into it.

This thread version will likely soon go kaput, as it appears this problem is confined to Addiction.
