fizik 2mm padded tape is awesome, stays clean easy and pretty cheap at $20 compared to Lizards

Thanks for all the suggestions folks! I went with the Salsa after all, dark brown, to play off the British Racing Green color of the bike. I'll post a pic when I get it on there...

It is very different than the regular bar end mirrors.

I hear ya. Thing is, that WTB saddle I use is so comfy for me - I put the same one on all 3 of my bikes. As much as I want a Brooks on there for aesthetics, it's kind of an "if ain't broke..." situation--would hate to mess with my saddle comfort!

Oh, you are absolutely right about comfort. And anyway, when you’re sitting on the saddle it is not visible! Still, a great-looking bike.

That tape looks great, nice choice! Yes, a brown Brooks saddle would complete the look. You can always try one and revert if things don't work out.

Not his green bike or tan sidewalls, but here you go with the dark brown Salsa tape and brown Brooks saddle.

Love it--looks classy. The thing that works for me with the WTB saddles I use is they have sort of that "whale tail" profile--the back rises up noticeably and I really sit perched on my sit bones, which I find very comfortable. I have quite narrow sit bones--I'm a skinny little guy. I've been perusing the Brooks line up just now and none of them appear to have that sort of shape. That said I've never tried a Brooks, maybe the narrow version would work. Just kind of an expensive experiment I fear!
The above bike now has a black WTB Rocket on it as I found it more comfortable.

I've tried a couple of Brook saddles (B17 & C17). They didn't work for me and my saddle of choice ended up being a WTB Rocket. Keep riding what you like. That being said, the charge spoon / madison flux saddles have the whale tail profile and come in brown. Here is one of my bikes with the flux saddle:

Somehow yours looks better than mine.
Have you taken it on any trips yet?
Thanks again for all your advice and help.
