A couple days ago I found a gasket, then a red lens, then a AAA battery, then a black plastic object, then another AAA battery.
I put them all together and had a functioning, undamaged Cateye taillight.

If you find later that it's really not undamaged and need some duct tape to hold it together I can spare some.

Yet another taillight.
That makes 3 perfectly good taillights I've found this year.

LOL, you just reminded me that I found a single cycling glove the other day. It was better quality than the cheap Chinese/ebay ones I'm currently wearing, and I ain't too proud to mix-n-match.
I find single work gloves pretty regularly, and if they're nice, I usually pick them up and toss them in the garage with my growing stash of mismatched work gloves.

All my gloves are street gloves!

Today I rode through a debris field that must have been some road trip games left on a roof that flew off and then got obliterated by traffic. There were dice and the shards of a yahtzee cup (the logo was intact on one piece), and a connect 4 game all in pieces (strangely I don't recall seeing any checkers).

A glasses case containing a pair of the ugliest glasses I've ever seen.
Lenses are clear, but seem to have neutral prescription.
Brought them home and googled the brand: Blake Kuwahara.
It is apparently some high-priced designer product for people with more money than taste.

I went to the website, and started scrolling down through the frames. I initially thought, hey, these aren't so bad. Then they started to get bad. Really bad. I can only assume they're also VERY expensive.

I scrolled through the whole collection twice, and I think perhaps the Fowler is the only one that isn't outright offensive.

Oh, and confirmed-- $500+ a pair. TO eBAY, MY GOOD MAN!!

Seriously, I never find anything good. Yesterday it was a huge piece of plywood directly on the shoulder; it was in ratty shape, so I heaved it over the guard rail; must've been over 40 lbs. I'd have been happy to find half a roll of duct tape. {sigh}

Today I found a pair of socks, some junk mail and saw a utility truck completely blocking my path. It's a good thing I had an alternate route then.

If I find gopher snakes (or bull snakes for those back east) that appear to be alive, I try to discourage the snakes from sunning themselves on the pavement.

Less concerned about garter snakes.

I found a snake last week! And at least three mice, all on the edge of the trail through the marsh. I think we have an owl with dropsy; or maybe a cat with poor hunting skills. Then again, that snake was pretty torn up, so I dunno.

How did it ride with your father? Was it like a Weekend at Bernie's situation?

Sorry I probably shouldn't make light. Please tell the whole story.

The actual story: We were riding the Little Miami bike trail and passed under the Jeremiah Morrow bridge shortly before hitting our turn around point about a quarter mile down the trail. As we're approaching the bridge from the other direction I see a semi truck parked on the bridge directly above the trail and there was someone looking over the edge. For context this bridge is like 250 ft. above the trail. As we get right below the bridge I noticed the body of (what we presumed to be) the driver of that semi right off the edge of the trail. We stopped and immediately called the police, they arrived shortly after and shut the trail down. The sheriff took our information and we headed home.We think that it occurred in the few minutes after we crossed under the first time. Quite a somber experience, especially when you think about the fact that he could've easily landed on someone and killed them as well.

Well that's worse than the body Joeybrooks saw floating in the river one day. I was really glad when the guy I found face down in the dirt breathed, I was wondering if he was still with us.

Today it was a woman standing at a railroad crossing screaming at every car/truck/bike that used the crossing:

I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!

She had a bike with her loaded up with what I'm guessing was all of her possessions.
From a couple hundred feet away, I called the local PD, and loitered until they arrived.
Apparently, she really didn't want people driving over her railroad tracks.

There used to be a guy in town that would stand at the intersection by the rail road tracks and yell at people. I haven't seen him in a while either, he may have moved somewhere warmer. Or the cops moved him along, he was right across the street from the police station.

I found a kitten in a ditch. Seemed scared and hungry, so I stopped, eventually got it to come to me, and then took it to the nearest animal rescue.

Haha, I found a kitten, too. I took him home, and my daughter has had him for a year or so now. She and her fiancée named him Guapo (Handsome).

Good pair of snips. Added a little weight for the remaining 30 miles but work well almost new

I found a hat in the road this morning. Decent brown baseball cap. Will go with most anything.

Looks brand new. Could have fallen off a car roof. Could have blown off someone's head. (It was really windy.) Could have come from anywhere. There was no one in sight to ask. Whoever's head it was on was long gone.

I claim maritime salvage rights for road debris worth less than $100

(And yes I'll wash it first)
