My wife is really enjoying her bike.

Well I wasn't expecting my wife to enjoy her bike as much as she has. Pretty darn proud of her and can see her improving with each ride. She's even gone out on her own a few times which is a real big step for her. This past week she hit a new milestone with 51 miles for the week. As she told me this weekend she is looking forward to making it up a certain climb when she rides by herself this week. She has done this climb 5 times, 3 by herself and ended up walking up it each time. Then 2 times with me and made it all the way up each time, while I rode behind her encouraging her all the way up. I'm looking forward to her telling me she made it up by herself on her solo ride this week.

That's awesome!! My wife was very reluctant to ride and even when she was smashing me on rides didn't feel very confident. Earlier this year I found her a used 2018 Trek Domane SL5. She hasn't looked back. She's grown more confident and even told me she enjoys riding. This is our 4th year riding as adults. So it was a big deal. I hope your wife finds that confidence, seems like she is feeling rewarded for working hard.

That's really great. My wife has started riding with me a few times this year and has ridden a few 15 mile rides with me. One ride we got caught in a torrential downpour on the way back to the car. She has been quite the trooper.
