NOS De Rosa SLX New frameset 57 cm C/C seat tube by 57 cm C/C top tube

Up for sale is a NOS De Rosa SLX NEW frameset. The frameset was acquired new in Italy a couple of years ago by a friend of mine who wanted a bike with the legendary ride features of Columbus SLX tubing, but then life happened and he never built it up as a full bike and he is now is thinning his bike collection

- seat tube: c-c 57; c-t 58

- top tube: c-c 57

I have seen the De Rosa frameset and it is stunning in aqua green and white accents; full chromed fork, chromed headtube lugs and stays; with the chromed areas being defined by hand-painted white lines. The frame is NOS and has never been built up (notice lack of marks on dropouts). I am posting the frameset here before selling on ebay. The asking price is $1,250 + shipping costs. The frameset will be professionally packed and will ship from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Local pick up is available.

I can also hand-deliver to the Trexlertown, PA swap meet this Saturday (May 2nd, 2015) if given sufficient notice

Just realized that I did not include any photos of the fork. If you would like any other photos, let me know and I will oblige.

That's a great deal. Just compare that to what a new frame set of inferior quality would cost you....

I agree, that is a one-of-a-kind frame at half the cost of custom (and can you even get chrome anymore?). Just beautiful. Now, off to rob a bank and find one of those Spanish Inquisition stretching racks.
