Ok and stuff.

But why do you think we’d be interested in such triviality?

Why do you have to be so unnecessarily harsh? If you don’t like the thread, just move on.

'Round here about now, we look at the calendar with trepidation, counting off the dwindling days of nice riding weather and dreading the inevitable return of Heck On Earth for its five or so character-building months. You don't have to shovel it or scrape it, but 117° days (or worse the 90° lows) aren't much fun. But we muddle through and enjoy the many months of nice weather and hope the hot months keep the riff-raff out.

Do you agree there is enough crap going on between people in the world around us? It would sure be nice to come to the Bike Forums to get away from that. How about that? Too much to ask of you?

I have a curious mind. It’s both an asset and a liability.

BTW…I recommend to you “Blink—The Art of Thinking Without Thinking”.

It wasn't that harsh. He's also right. What is the point of the original post (which was rather odd)?

Seems doubtful that everybody announcing they are getting ready for the season and are going to post more would really anybody would want to "come to the Bike Forums" for..

Do you mean “ask of you” or “ask of you all”

I don’t think I’ve, as in me personally, have ever been referred to as “harsh”.

oh, I get it now…. You’re being harsh.

IKR. I asked a question in direct response to a statement made by the OP and got harshed on by someone who apparently considers himself a gatekeeper.

You could make yourself some toast. It's like a sandwich but not. It's content free; Like this thread.

I thought the post was rather strange too, however; rather than giving the guy a bad time for it, I decided the better thing to do is just ignore it. IOW, just walk away until I see people giving him crap behind the cloak of their keyboards. Do we really need to do that? Can’t people just be decent?

The post was strange. It was also a waste of people’s attention, unfortunately. It doesn’t help the OP at all to ignore the strangeness. You end-up implying it wasn’t strange at all.

You are ignoring the posts (and the people who liked those posts) that disagree with you.

Did you really need to give me a hard time for asking a legitimate question? You could have just ignored it.

Instead, you stepped right into the trap set by someone other than me.

^^^This. OP was a joke and it's not surprising who was sucked into his "defense." But since we are here, how many of you like bagels for breakfast?
