But it now $350

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...E:B:SS:US:1123

Medici Pro-Strada road frame

Late 70s Medici Pro-Strada road frame with tons of cool custom tweaks.
50cm ST c-t-c, 51cm TT c-t-c.
Columbus SL tubing, Campagnolo dropouts and BB cable router (drive-side rear dropout is tapped for Campy's Portacatena system, a unique little detail).
Fork dropouts have fender/rack mounts brazed on (a custom request when built).
Fantastic lugwork. Head tube is truly stunning (see pic).
Campagnolo Record headset (freshly repacked) and Mavic BB.
Paint has a few spots of rust and some scratches, but overall, it's in nice shape.
From what I can tell, was probably built during the era of Brian Baylis and Mike Howard at Medici, which makes this a very cool piece of cycling history.

I don't have a good sense of this bike's value, but I think it's pretty dang cool and I'd buy it if I needed a sports tourer and/or it was my size:

NEW LOWER PRICE!

Have you ever wanted an ultimate touring bike for less than half the price? Here is your chance to own a Waterford T-14 Made in the USA.
This bike is built from Reynolds 853 steel with rack and fender braze-ons. Drop outs are Waterford stamped and the frame has a seat post tube lug as well.
The bike has cantilever bosses front and rear. The color is classic British Racing Green.
This frame was custom made with the following measurements.
54cm center of BB to top to TT
57.5cm TT center to center
74 degree seat tube
72 degree heat tube
The fork is 1" threadless custom lugged. ($395 MSRP)
Rear drop out spacing is 132mm to accommodate road or mtb hubs.

https://waterfordbikes.com/now/models.php?Model=673

The frame is in great condition and was used as a commuter locally. There are some paint chips that have been touched up and not noticeable when built up.
If you have any questions you can text me at the number below. I will also respond to emails.

Thanks

Best offers accepted, but please no low ballers.

Hi, I'm new.
Can anyone tell me more about this frame? I've googled around. There's not much info to go on in the post.
It says it's a Giordana 54cm frame with Gipiemme stamped dropouts.
Looks like a good candidate for a repaint, what with all the scratches.

I just googled myself. Thing that came up several times is
1:The Giordana bike brand was the house label for Gita, a supplier of bikes and clothing.
2:The frame are built by others. I've seen Billato, Dario Pegoretti

This is the "best" page I found.

56cm Soma Competition Road Bike Champion No 2 - $350 (Somerville)

Please note this is Soma from the 1980s/90s NOT the current company
12 Speed Soma Competition Road Bike

56cm seat tube and a stand over height of 33 inches
will most likely fit riders about 5'8" to 5'11" tall

Tange Champion No. 2 Double Butted Frame makes for a very light weight bike
Shimano 600 brakes, brake levers, shifters, and front derailleur
Rear derailleur is a Suntour Cyclone GT
Read about the Cyclone here : https://www.disraeligears.co.uk/Site/..._style%29.html
Nitto Olympiad handlebars
Technomic stem
Continental Super Sport tires
A note on the headset - previous owner tried fitting a newer Shimano 600 but the steerer was
too short and would not allow for a locknut. The bottom portion is still Shimano 600 and the top
end is Tange. It works flawlessly.

This bike was given a thorough overhaul. The bottom bracket and headset were both rebuilt.
All components were given a degrease bath, cleaned, and re-lubed prior to installation.
MANY NEW PARTS:
Origin 8 ProPulsion Series Cranks and Chainrings
Weinmann alloy wheels
Shimano 6 Speed Freewheel
Sram Chain
Origin 8 SportUno Saddle
XLC Brake Pads
All Cables and Cable Housing
Inner Tubes
Handlebar Wrap

I have a set of pedals for test riding purposes but the bike is being sold as pictured.

Thanks for looking
Peter

You should really stop googling yourself
I had one and it was a nice frame. It was one of my work bikes when I was a messenger. It was built of lowly Cromor, but the lugs were nicely filed, the paint was unbelievably high quality (pearl white with pearly pink accents around the lugs). Miss that bike.

Sweet white-hubbed wheelset for $250. Tempted to buy myself but I really shouldn't. I've emailed with this guy a bunch but never bought anything from him. He might be flexible on price...

These are very tempting, they really look like tubular wheels. Considering the asking price for NOS MA40s on the 'bay these wheels are a steal.

Some guy's listed "Trek 531 circa" 84 (if you don't get them both with the 3 keywords I think the year's right, around 56cm) on ebay. Since it may post next to Bianchgirls I have in some tab a brown Bianchi from Meg Whitman's invention. Like a beat Celeste one which went for like $2600 it has this outmoded "headset integrated into the frame" concept which went out in the 70's.
