FS: 1983 Trek 850
The 1983 Trek 850, their first venture into the mountain bike market. A 20" frame, spindle to seat tube top. This bike has been professionally repainted and fitted with new decals (Trek and Tange). Some componentry is new but matches original specs. Additions/modifications include ST Bearclaw Pedals, Origin Grips, Kool Stop Pads, Blackburn rear rack, pair of Kendra Tires 26x1-3/4 knobby and pair of Nokia 26x1-3/4" studded. Bike has been babied all its life, no jumping, just backroads of Vermont and Hawai'i. Now in Vermont. You can enlarge photo of brochure to review specs. $415
Currently running ergonomic grips and a Terry Liberator Saddle
Catalog Page. I traded my '81-'82 Stump Jumper in 1983 for this - new at dealer.
Original decal. All have been replaced by new.

Beautiful bike, very sought after in the C&V group
Confusingly there are a few "For Sale" sections on BF.
FYI - This bike will likely do much better in the C&V sales section - https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage-sales/
Edit: Your location & Frame size would be helpful too

Hi, is this bike still for sale? If so, I'm interested and would love some more info about it. My email is kvnclu@gmail.com if that is helpful (I'm new to this site and PMs are restricted it seems). Thank you.
