Mudguards for Giant Roam 1 Disc 2019?
I am due to collect the above bike in a few days, and while I understand they are not built to take mudguards in the conventional sense, can you buy anything that clips on, for example, and does anybody have any recommendations?
If it helps I am in the UK.

I have had excellent success with Planet Bike fenders (mudguards). I have them on many bikes.

I have the Planet Bike Cascadia muguards on my 2018 Roam. They are definitely not "clip on", though. They do need to be installed with fasteners.

And, it's not difficult - just time consuming.

Right -- just clarifying for the original poster, who did ask for clip-on fenders.
I did have SKS Velo Mountain mudguards on my mountain bike. They are designed to be easily removed. I have them in 65mm wide, but they make narrower versions as well. I removed them only because I've moved back into more traditional mountain biking with that bike, making the mud guards sort of clumsy for it. They would work well on a Roam, if you bought them in the right size.

I went from 700x28mm Specialized tires that originally came with the bike to 35mm Panaracer T-Serves and the comfort level improved greatly. My bike has an aluminum fork so i recently switched to a pair of cheapo 42mm Panaracer Tour tires to see if it increased the comfort level and indeed the bike feels super comfy now. It does feel a little slower, however it could be the difference in quality of casing and the tire weight which is twice as heavy.

And, those long mudguards on the mudguards really make a big difference on the amount of slop the tire throws off.. I also have Planet Bike Cadscadias on my '08 Specialized Crosstrail Sport. They work well with the 40mm and 35mm tires I currently run, and barely fit the 45s that were OEM - but I have mine mounted closer to the tires. (my choice)
I would buy these again, in a heartbeat, as they have served me well.

Hey,
Nice bike!
can you please tell me how you’ve attached the frond mudguard as there is no way to attach through the forks on my roam 0 2022 model?
thanks,
