Crazy timing since I just saw this bike in a review today and a thread in general was started today.
Have you experienced chainslap on the underside of the dropped stay yoke?
What made you buy this bike- was it mostly the new material or something else?

I haven't experienced much slap when riding on gravel, but I did hitting the trails this past weekend because obviously roots and rocks at slower speeds are much more jarring than zipping over gravel.
So I got the bike for free; by sheer chance I was picked to be a brand ambassador for the company after an interview with their product & marketing managers. But I went for it for a few reasons: 1) I wanted a gravel bike (never had one), 2) i was interested in getting in at the ground level for a brand new bike company, 3) i like the company's philosophy of sustainability both in the company practices and their products (ie: the frames are recyclable, frame materials are less destructive to extract from the earth and process, 100% plastic free packaging, etc etc.
It's been great to ride - it's quite light, and the frame + carbon fork & seatpost have been real nice - ride quality is excellent (bear in mind its my first gravel bike so I don't have anything to compare it to, though). There are a few things I'd change and don't love but everyone's rev1 product isn't perfect.
I'm happy to discuss the bikes and company in more detail in a separate thread or via PM if that's allowed (I don't know what Bike Forums' rules are for brand ambassadors)

A Japanese market bike with a name of Maxwell, makes for a nice bike anyway.
Redoing my Centurion Pro-tour with flat bars and Ultegra level flatbar shifters and brake levers.
Stripped it to the bare frame for a thorough cleaning and flat bar conversion.

I just added a new one to the stable, and took it out on it’s maiden gravel ride today. The Breezer Doppler was great, and the 650b x 47c wheels and tires were a revelation; a totally different emotion from this bike compared to the Kinesis Racelight (which does double-duty as the wet weather roadie) is what I was looking for, and I got it!

Soma Fog Cutter
Recently finished a new Soma Fog Cutter build. It's intended as primarily a daily commuter once I get a rack delivered, but it's a terrific gravel ride as well.

I'm thinking about a custom Hakka, as well. I'm weighing it against a Ti frame, though, like a Knolly Cache or J. Guillem Atalaya. What are your impressions of the Hakka so far on pavement, dirt roads, single track, etc., if any? I'm thinking of building it up with the new Campy Ekar gravel groupset.

I needed a winter beater. Bike basically stays on back of car. right now I have to shorten my morning ride to work shorter days, dropping off kids at school luckily I have MUP that basically goes to my work so I just park at trailhead. On the way I home I can ride some short trails if desired and use some rail trails picked this up for like 20 bucks maybe a diamond back something, was black rattle canned so I stripped did a quick polish and put some drop bars on it. So far so good.
