Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

4.0s are nice, just a shame there too heavy for me. I want a wheelset in the 1300-1400 gram range. Eyeing either the S2.0sl or the C4.0's, huge price jump and different material which is why i'm having trouble deciding. C4.0s will look so clean on my bike so i'm leaning that way.

Red hubs & nipples would've been awesome on that bike.

[QUOTE=AllezDada;12283027]My new S2.0SLs

They look very nice. Almost made me wish i would have ghosted mine out. The Red "s" is more prominent than I thought.

Just got back from my LBS and the S2.0SL wheels are now mounted! Here's a quick slideshow of my 2011 Allez w/wheels. The Allez now weighs 17.36lbs as shown in the slideshow. If anyone is interested in the build specs, let me know.

The lighting in that picture reminds me of Zeus...like it's a bike for the Gods.

Thanks. Changing the wheels has decreased my bike weight from 17.4 to 15.8 lbs (with pedals and cages) - not bad

Wow. I'm replacing the same wheels on my 2.3. I guess I can expect the same weight reduction when I get my wheels.
