It's been said that any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. Any landing you can use the aircraft again is a great landing. I'd say Mr. Power Cable is 0 for 2.

How can you say that? He hasn't landed yet! He could hand-over-hand on those cables, take the ladder down the pylon, and BOOM good landing. Then climb back up there with some tools and fix the plane, BAM great landing

I never heard of this 1794 edition so I looked it up on Wikipedia.

The Toyota Tundra plant sits on land that Toyota purchased from the oldest working cattle ranch in Texas. 1794 refers to the year that this ranch was established by Spanish colonist Juan Ignacio de Casanova.

That's pretty weird with a special edition of a pickup named after the artic and referencing a time before cars.

And virtually no Texan knows that as we think of 1836 as the "Beginning". Good search and find, though.

Some people will look at that truck and think it should say 1974.

Do people drive Toyota pickups in Texas? I was under the impression that it was pretty exclusively American made pickups with a mandatory gun rack down there.

Lots of pickups of all types here in Texas, including Toyota. Haven't seen a gun rack in a truck in 20 years.

I used to see gun racks in pickups in Dallas in the mid 80's. They usually had contractors levels hanging from them.

The old money Cadillac dealer there had a couple of big signs hanging in their service department, and one of them recommended their customers remove their guns and alcohol before service. I thought it was a joke at first, but they were serious.

Tons of Toyota pickups here. Tundras (and Tacomas) made and sold in Texas come with the sticker shown below on the rear window.

Note also the pillar in the middle of the room, and the institutional-looking (?) furniture, seems like it's in an office or school. That stuff is probably just there to play with the cat
