Riders near Western Mass

I'm fortunate enough to live right on a rail trail in westfield that goes into CT. Anyone Kno of any nice routes in this area?

I know a cpl unpaved trails in MA & CT but they are somewhat between you & Eastern MA. not sure how far you'd want to drive with your bike before actually riding it

but, may I ask, which trail are you near? is it paved? how long is it?

Lots of nice riding west of you. Russell, Huntington, Chester, Becket Quarry. Just spent a night in the restored caboose in Chester back in June during a tour from Vermont to Philly. Good pizza at dive bar in tow. But you gots to like hills. The ruling grade on Quarry Rd. south from U.S. 20 is 14%. Blandford Stage Rd. from Russell up to MA 23 is another good climb, but nice.

Already looking forward to taking the fat bike out in the snow around the trails in Lake Dennison, will have a set of studded tires to put on when needed.
