Still another cycling project going on,,,,,
This involves connecting all of the walking and cycling paths on top of all of the levees along the Mississippi river, each parish or county that has the river running through it would be responsible for asphalting and maintaining their section of the levees, as you may well know if you live close to the river you may be already using it,,,, of course there are areas where factories or grain elevators are working so you will have to get off and ride what we call the river road till it's clear again , this project may be a little more feasible as opposed to the East Coast project,,,,,,,, so is there anybody already using the levees ??

Being in Louisvlle,KY, I can ride along the Ohio river, not the Mississippi. L'ville KY is working on completion of the Louisville Loop, and there is the Big 4 Bridge (converted rail bridge) that crosses over to Jeffersonville, IN. and IN is working on some greenways along the Ohio. Good to hear of these kind of projects proceeding, wherever, should get more people out on bikes and getting some exercise while enjoying the day! Best of luck on the Mississippi project!
