It was a hard week, 500k total. iTrod is at 2300 and I'm at 2100. Not sure about any riding before my fleche next weekend. Have to see how it works out. Looks like lots of rain in the forecast

I'm at 3,200 and some-odd at the moment, so assuming I don't get hit by a truck or something, the year is shaping up okay. Just finished a cold wet 600k last weekend.

Congrats on the 600k. We were going to ride back to back 200k's this weekend, but the weather doesn't look that great. Maybe one on Sunday unless iTrod decides to be hard core and I'll feel guilted into doing it too.

My knees blew up on PBP and I didn't finish, and took a break to heal. So no khound for me this year. Probably will not break 6000. Anyone getting close?

I rolled over 10,000 a month or so ago. Hope to ride Friday with a friend who is still shooting for 10,000.

I am seeing some folks from Texas riding 300k perms. The thought of doing that rn makes me nauseous, but more power to them.

This time of year, a 300k will involve several hours of riding in the dark and may involve temperatures down in the 30's at start and finish. So entirely doable, but not as much fun as earlier in the year.

I think it might actually be counterproductive for me to ride 300k's, but I suppose if you only have one day a week to ride distance, it might be the way to go.
