Making me wanna do a long ride in NY state...
I do love the trip ideas these guys have.
This is the latest - looks like a nice weekend (or fun one day extended ride). I wanna do this one.

Interesting! I was just gravel grinding near the Blueberry Patch in the Finger Lakes National Forest last week (but only a quick post-work15miler)
I'm surprised there's only 4000ft of ascent over 62miles; must be very well selected roads.
I say go for it! This area is really quite pretty. -but I will warn you our weather, well, sucks. Gray rainy days far outnumber sunny days.

OP - this looks like a nice route, but there is SO much of this type of riding in this area that you can easily make a longer trip out of this and keep the same general character. Or were you planning to do this just as a day trip and not an overnight?

Looks very nice. I've been wanting to go check out the finger lakes region. I'm not sure about the bikepacking thing, but it would be a nice one day ride with some friends. TCX file saved

Oh nice, glad to see a new bikepacking route in the northeast!
I've been wanting to do the Green Mountains Gravel Growler for a while, but this makes the choice for where to go on a bikepacking trip next year a little harder.
