I never liked frame ID posts, now I have one of my own.
I'm thinking it should be fairly easy with the wrap-around seatcluster. Dropouts are campy, as are the braze on bb guides. English thread. Stamping on BB shell is 37448 and < E O >. Brazing on the canti mounts is pretty good, I can't decide for sure if they were added later, hence the repaint. I was wondering if Rodriguez or Davidson ever did that stay treatment, since I'm in the PNW.

Chainstay stop incorrect for a Holdsworthy product. Of course, it, toegether with top tube cable guides, w/b & cantis could have easily been mounted post manufacture & prior to the current respray...
Chainstay dimpling appears performed, at least partially, by builder. Looks as though done with a hammer.
Suggests a small scale operation.
We need to hear from @MauriceMoss - he shall know the significance of the E O marking.

Picture from the Norman Kilgariff website, on which you can find all the Claud Butler and Holdsworth info.
I can't say for the quasi-wrapped seatstays, but the cable stops/guides and the seat stay bridge scream Holdsworth to me. It's probably from after they stopped using those Prugnat Type I lugs with the points on the sides of the head tube.

Someone thinned the lugs, which is a nice touch. I suspect the TT cable guides and canti braze ons are after the fact. The seat stay caps are reminiscent of Gitane's higher-end frames, but the brake bridge is higher quality and threading isn't correct. I'm guessing this was originally made in the 70s, maybe add-ons applied in the 80s?

Semi-sloping crown with the wrap around thick stays...and as FP says above, thinned lugwork. barrel brake bridge...hmm. Not ornate enough for Harry Quinn...was going to go Claude Butler as above? British Eagle? Bob Jackson?
