A) I saw some other non-fixie pics in here as well, so thought that would be ok, if that was the problem. If I really did post something in the wrong forum, you can tell me politely.
B)Yes, I'm fat, thank you for noticing. Did it make you feel better? Actually, I've lost a fair amount since that pic. Am I restricted to the clydesdale forum until I meet your specs? (Umm, I don't think that's going to happen.)
B) I can easily ignore you in the future if needed.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I'm 5'10" and 230 (down from 245). I've heard similar and worse things, even on this forum, from cycling buddies and strangers. It didn't occur to me that someone who is overweight and into cycling would really get all that offended by it. I tend to wear it with pride; I'll always be a large guy, but I can still keep up on a bike.
Out of curiosity, do you own a fixed gear? None of your previous posts seem to indicate that.

I've got a thick skin, however, it came off as a rude comment. I'll presume you didn't perceive it that way when you wrote it, but you could have been more diplomatic.
No, I don't currently own a fixed. I was looking at "new posts" and not really paying attention to the sub-forum it was under. I did see plenty of pics of derailleur bikes in the thread, however.

so i took a trip to bovina, new york a few months ago. there was this hill i tried to go down, but about 1/4 of the way through it, my legs were pumping like a 2-stroke motor with a throttle all the way open. of course, cause i was toocoolforskoolbrakeless, i had to skid about 150ft before i came close to being able to stop. during said skid, my left foot popped out of my cleat and i thought for sure i was going over the hill
i got a brake
when my girlfriend drove us back home up the hill, the car wouldn't go over 35mph...

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Why didn't I take pics when I was riding today? Only did when I got home
Epic, that is a great shot and view. I wish there were spots like that around columbus. There are some nice ones, but not like that.

You gonna eat that?
From last night's ride.
This is (ostensibly) a two-way street.
Major train yard on the left.
At the science museum
Why we ride
Group picture (me in the red flannel on the left, next to the green bike)
On the way home... the rain got me!
